The lake of Robertville and its dam, created in 1928, are located in the Natural Park of the High Fens, in the Province of Liege, close to Xhoffraix, Ovifat and Elsenborn.
With a surface area of 62 ha and a depth of between 15 and 54 meters, the Robertville lake contains more than 80,000,000 m3 of water.
The Robertville dam was created to supply drinking water to the Malmedy region and to produce energy through a hydroelectric plant.
TOURISM AT THE LAKE OF ROBERTVILLE
The Robertville lake is a very touristic place where different animations and activities are organized during all the year.
Kayaking and canoeing are two of the main activities offered on Lake Robertville. A small portion of the lake is also open for swimming.
